Chance Eau Splendide
Female 2025 Chance
Chance Eau Splendide Chance Eau Splendide by Chanel is a vibrant 2025 addition to the Chance collection, crafted by perfumer Olivier Polge to celebrate the line's 20th anniversary. This luminous fruity-floral fragrance is defined by a sparkling raspberry accord blended with rose and violet facets. It features high-quality rose geranium cultivated in Chanel's exclusive Grasse fields, lending a delicate minty freshness to the heart.
The composition matures into a sophisticated base of powdery iris, mysterious cedar, and white musk, creating an elegant, playful sillage. While some users find its longevity fleeting or its profile reminiscent of high-end shampoo, it is widely praised as an uplifting, joyful scent perfect for spring and summer. Housed in a modern electric violet flacon, it offers a refined yet spirited olfactory experience suitable for both casual and professional daytime settings.
Chance Eau Splendide offers a vibrant and playful opening with a prominent raspberry accord, but its longevity is notably modest for an Eau de Parfum. Many users report the scent transitions into an intimate skin scent within one to two hours, making it a fleeting experience compared to other Chanel offerings.
The sillage and projection are equally restrained, creating a delicate, personal aura rather than a noticeable trail. While it is perfect for office environments or close encounters, frequent reapplication is necessary to maintain its presence.
Launched in 2025, Chance Eau Splendide was created by in-house perfumer Olivier Polge to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Chance collection. As the fifth fragrance in the lineup, it introduces a vibrant purple hue to the series. The scent was inspired by the idea of "splendid serendipity," featuring a unique raspberry accord and rose geranium grown in Chanel’s exclusive fields in Grasse.
The fragrance made its debut with high-profile global activations, including an immersive maze experience at The Grove in Los Angeles. Fronted by Belgian singer Angèle, the campaign emphasized themes of joy and self-crafted destiny. This release marks a significant milestone for the house, being the first major fragrance launch under the leadership of Simona Cattaneo, and continues the legacy of optimism established by the original Chance in 2003.
