Mojave Ghost Alcohol-Free
Unisex 2024
Mojave Ghost Alcohol-Free Mojave Ghost Alcohol-Free by Byredo is a sophisticated 2024 limited-edition release that reinterprets the iconic original with a water-based formula. This gentle, skin-friendly version captures the ethereal essence of the Mojave Desert’s ghost flower. It opens with a unique blend of sweet sapodilla and musky ambrette, creating a fresh, fruity introduction. This alcohol-free variant is specifically designed for the heat of summer, providing a cooling, watery sensation that is less likely to irritate sensitive or allergy-prone skin.
The fragrance transitions into a delicate heart of powdery violet, creamy sandalwood, and magnolia before settling into a warm base of cedarwood, amber, and musk. Despite its lighter, more subtle rendition, it offers impressive longevity of up to nine hours when misted generously over the hair and body. This versatile, unisex scent maintains a sophisticated sillage that sits close to the wearer. It is a perfect choice for those seeking a clean, airy, and refined signature fragrance for daily wear.
Mojave Ghost Alcohol-Free offers a delicate, lighter rendition of the original scent, specifically designed for those with sensitive skin or for use in high heat. Despite its water-based formulation, it maintains a surprising longevity of up to nine hours. While it provides a refreshing and watery sensation upon application, the performance remains subtle and intimate, staying close to the wearer rather than projecting loudly.
The sillage is soft and non-confrontational, creating a personal aromatic bubble that is ideal for professional environments or casual daily wear. It captures the ethereal, woody-floral essence of the signature fragrance without the harshness of alcohol. This version is perfect for multi-purpose use, as it can be misted generously over both hair and body to provide a gentle, long-lasting variation that feels both sophisticated and discreet.
Launched in 2024, Mojave Ghost Alcohol-Free is a limited-edition reimagining of Byredo’s iconic 2014 fragrance. This version was developed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original scent, paying homage to the resilient ghost flower of the Mojave Desert. It introduces a water-based, skin-friendly formulation designed specifically for the heat of summer.
Unlike the original Eau de Parfum, this iteration features a gentle, alcohol-free composition that offers a refreshing, watery sensation. It preserves the signature olfactory pyramid of sapodilla, violet, and sandalwood while catering to those with sensitive or allergy-prone skin. The release was part of a broader 2024 series that also included a high-concentration Absolu and a solid perfume format.
